Midori’s Long Journey through the NEW Music Industry – Part 26
Midori and Audioclique are playing at the Paramount Ranch in Malibu today! Bufest has 70 bands from all over the world, and they expect 20,000 people to attend. Midori and the band are performing on the Sonic Bids Stage at 2pm on Saturday May 30, 2009. It’s gonna be a great show and a lot of fun!
Hi Everyone!
Today is the day for Bufest 2009! Midori and the band have been working hard getting ready for the summer festivals…remember she is playing Warped Tour in August at the Shoreline Amphitheatre in SF, as well as the Choochokam Festival in Washinton State in July!
The Phoenix gig in Petaluma was a lot of fun..THANKS TO ALL FOR COMING OUT!!!! I attached a portion of the video shoot this blog…if it doens’t show up, visit our MySpace and all of the videos from the gig are post there.
Also, I got a lot of emails from folks who told me the street team sign up is not working and that passwords are not being generated. I will fix this when I get back from Malibu, and I will make sure passwords get sent out.
Thanks for all of your support!

About Midori & Audioclique
Sixteen year old Midori Longo, nominated for 9 Effigy Awards on ABC Network Radio’s Fame Games and winner of the Most Popular Artist Effigy Award for 2008, fronts the rock band Audioclique. This young band has a mix of influences, creating a classic yet very unique and current sound. The July 2008 release of their debut CD, “Bring It“ is causing a buzz in the music world, and can be described as organic, classic rock fused with a modern presence. You can hear the influence of the Beatles, Joan Jett, No Doubt, Fiona Apple, Led Zeppelin, and even a little bit of Matchbox 20 in their sound. Her song ”Go” was nominated for Indie Song of the Year by the Hollywood Music Awards, and she was also nominated for Singer of the Year by the Los Angeles Music Awards. This blog chronicles the long, tough journey that she and Audioclique are navigating as they make their way in the NEW music industry.
